As part of the delivery of the Stalybridge Regeneration Programme the Astley Cheetham Library and Art Gallery form part of the investment aimed at developing the ‘Cultural Quarter.’

Cowburn Watson-Box were appointed to provide cost and programme management services focusing on vital upgrades to both external and internal access. The project objectives aimed to elevate the space and enhance the visitor experience through better lighting and redesigned layouts, all while improving storage. This was achieved whilst giving careful consideration to the heritage aspect of this Grade II Listed building.
